FIRM REGISTRATION(PARTNERSHIP ACT 1932)
Partnership form of businesses has been mainly registered for medium and small levels. Minimum two or more persons agreed to share the profit of a business carried can form a partnership firm.
Partnership Act 1932 protect the rights of the partners relating to partnership such as dissolution of firm, retirement and death of the partners and auxiliary issues.
“PARTNERSHIP” as stated in Partnership Act 1932, defines it in the following terms:
The relation between person who have agreed to share the profits of a business carried on by all or any of them acting for all”. Minimum two and maximum twenty persons can collectively execute partnership firm.
NGO, TRUST & FOUNDATIONS REGISTRATION
NGOs are now recognized as a vital component of a vibrant civil society. They motivate voluntary efforts on the basis of self-help & mobilization of human and material resources to supplement government efforts to accelerate the development process. The NGOs play a significant role in organizing government efforts for sharing responsibility in providing social services to the people as partner in development.
NGOs also play an important role in creating a link between the community and the nation building departments. They also help the departments in order to reach the grassroots level of the society especially people living in the rural, slum, katchi abadies, backward and remote areas. The voluntary Social Welfare Agency (NGO) intending to apply for registration under voluntary social welfare Agencies (R&C) Ordinance 1961, Rule 1962 and instructions of 1962.
TRUST REGISTRATION
A trust may be registered under Act 1882 after establishment of deed settlements for benefits of society.
CO-OPERATIVE SOCITIES REGISTRATION
The society is a form of organization where persons join together voluntarily on a basis of equality of a common economic need under co-operative societies Act 1925.
THE SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT, 1860
Societies or NPO’s which are registered under The Societies Registration Act, 1860 are for the promotion of literature, science or the fine arts or for the diffusion of useful knowledge, the diffusion of political education or for charitable purposes. Any seven or more persons associated for any literary, scientific, charitable purpose, the diffusion of useful knowledge, the foundation or maintenance of libraries or reading rooms for general use, public museums, galleries of paintings or works of art. A Society under the Act subscribing their names to a memorandum of association filling the same with registrar of Societies.
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REGISTRATION
Chamber of Commerce and Industries is a premier seat of representation for business and industries of the country. Chamber of commerce has been established its repute as a center of excellence providing authentic and complete information about trade and industry.
FUNCTIONS OF CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRIES
- Performs analyses, provides information and renders consulting services to public bodies on the elaboration and adoption of legal acts related to the economic development of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
⦁ Provides support in the development of projects regarding the country’s economy.
⦁ Organizes and upkeeps the non-governmental trade register of its members, according to the valid legislation.
⦁ Organizes meetings and establishes business contacts between economic agents.
⦁ Organizes and supports the participation of local economic agents at trade fairs and exhibitions abroad.
⦁ Organizes specialized exhibitions and trade fairs within the
country.
⦁ At the request of home and foreign economic agents, provides specific services.
⦁ Performs expertise of the contracts regarding projects between local economic agents, and agents from abroad upon their request;
⦁ Organizes trainings and seminars for entrepreneurs.
⦁ Issues periodical publications of economic and commercial
character, publishes newsletters on general economy issues,
concerning economy stand in the country and abroad, with purpose of intensifying trade, as well as booklets, catalogs, brochures etc.
⦁ Issues certificates of non-preferential origin for exported
goods, filling in of customs declarations.
⦁ Performs brokerage for customs service, targets invoices and
other documents in foreign trade.
⦁ Establishes and confirms events of force majeure in the
relationships between entrepreneurial entities.
⦁ Provides a number of legal services to economic agents;
⦁ Informs its members about regulations in the field of economic activity, commercial usage, and about banking and trade opportunities.
⦁ Renders services of translation from different languages and vice–versa.
⦁ Provides support to its members in obtaining documents for the protection of commercial marks, labels, of industrial designs, inventions and other instruments of intellectual property.
⦁ Provides consulting services in preparation of constituent
instruments for the registration of enterprises of different
legal forms of organization and representatives of foreign
companies
⦁ Contributes to the development of foreign economic activity and exports of goods, labor force, works and services.
⦁ Collaborates with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of other countries and with their representations accredited in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
⦁ Collaborates directly or through its established representatives abroad, with foreign organizations and institutions, coming across with Chamber’s activity.
⦁ Organizes economic missions abroad for business people in order to expand and intensify economic relations with other countries.
⦁ Contributes to the establishment of contacts and organizes
negotiations between its members and foreign companies or
organizations with a view of concluding commercial transactions.
⦁ Organizes arbitrage to solve domestic and international
commercial disputes.
⦁ Provides interested persons with information about arbitration in
other countries.
⦁ Performs other functions, considering the world practice of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and provisions of the
International agreements to which the Islamic Republic of
Pakistan is signatory

PSEB REGISTRATION
Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is an apex Government body mandated to promote Pakistan’s IT Industry in local and international markets. PSEB facilitates the IT industry through a series of projects and programs in infrastructure development, human capital development, company capability development, international marketing, strategy and research, and the promotion of innovation and technologies.
Government incentives to the international outsourcing community include 100% equity ownership, 100% repatriation of capital and dividends, and income tax credit for IT exports till June 2025. Pakistan has a large talent-pool of English-speaking, cost-competitive and skilled workforce, a large number of internationally-certified companies and reliable telecom infrastructure. PSEB works extensively with international trade associations, commerce bodies and the media to promote Pakistan’s IT industry.
